Rotary International Joins UNICEF at the 68th Commission on the Status of Women in New York City
Ed Futa, Primary Rotary Representative to the United Nations and Dr. Rose Cardarelli, Rotary International Representative to UNICEF-USA were invited by UNICEF to the annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) for discussions focused on the opportunities, obstacles, and impact of STEM education and climate on girls and young women.
Ava Wilson, UNICEF, led the discussion as the youth moderator with panelists Sarah Steinberg from Linked In and Ute Scholz from Zonta International. UNICEF is amplifying the voices of girls to ensure they have access to critical digital and green skills for their future success and in the interest of protecting our planet.
